Cycling for NEWway Work Hub
Building on success of the last year’s bike ride, 11 people from NEWway will cycle for three days between 20th and 22nd May 2026 to fundraise for the new NEWway Work Hub. It will be a place of training and education, where our guests will learn to become carpenters, gardeners and landscapers. We want to turn a shipping container into a classroom and equip the hub with essential tools that will help us start the project.

Women’s Project “The Pearls”
Exciting news! NEWway received three small grants to run a women-only pilot project. We will run the project on Wednesdays for the three months, starting 25th March 2026. Our thanks go to the London City Airport Community Fund, the Lyle’s Local Fund, and the Charles S French Charitable Trust!
Employability Programme
The National Lottery Awards 4 All funded our in-house Back-to-Work programme. It will run in three cohorts, the first one having already completed their classroom training. Check out our social media for pictures from the celebration ceremony.
